On Wednesday 4th March 2026, during half-time of the Fulham F.C. vs West Ham United F.C. Premier League match, the Fulham FC Foundation hosted a special live demonstration of Walking Football on the famous Craven Cottage pitch.
For many supporters, the opportunity to step onto the Craven Cottage playing surface is extremely rare. Normally, home fans only get the chance to play on the pitch at the end of the season before the turf is replaced.
So when this unique opportunity arose, the Fulham Walking Football squads and referees seized the moment, taking part in a memorable exhibition match in front of thousands of supporters inside the stadium.
The experience of playing on such a historic Premier League pitch is something that will live long in the memory for everyone involved.
The session was organised and run by Walking Football Caribbean founder Greg Dalmar, who continues to promote and develop walking football opportunities within the community.
It was a fantastic showcase for the sport and demonstrated how walking football continues to grow, bringing players together while keeping the game accessible, competitive and enjoyable for all.
